【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesanindextestmethodfordeterminationofthetensilepropertiesofjointsandseamsingeotextilesandrelatedpro-ducts,usingawide-widthstrip.Themethodisap-plicabletomostgeotextilesandgeotextile-relatedproducts.Itisalsoapplicabletogeogrids,butthespecimendimensionsmayneedtobealtered.Thismethodquantifiesthetensilestrengthofajointorseambetweengeotextilesorrelatedproducts.Itcanprovidedatatoindicatethejointorseamtensilestrengthwhichcanbeachieved.Ajointorseamefficiencycanbecalculatedbycomparisonofthejoint/seamtensilestrengthwiththetensilestrengthoftheunjointedmaterialasde-terminedbyISO10319.Proceduresformeasuringthetensilepropertiesofbothconditionedandwetspecimensareincluded.Somemodificationoftechniquesmaybenecessaryforparticulargeotextiles,e.g.stronggeotextiles,meshesorgeotextilesmadefromglassfibre,topreventthemfromslippinginthejawsorbeingdamagedasaresultofbeinggrippedinthejaws.Thebasictestforjointsorseamsinallkindsofgeotextilesorrelatedproductsusestestspecimensof200mmwidth,withtheprovisionfortheseamorjointtoextendfor25mmoneachsideinordertoprovidejointorseamstabilityduringthetest(seefigure2).
