【摘要】:ThisservicedefinitioniscompliantwiththeUPnPDeviceArchitectureversion1.0.Thisservice-typeenablesmodelingofstreamingcapabilitiesofA/Vdevices,andbindingofthosecapabilitiesbetweendevices.EachdevicethatisabletosendorreceiveastreamaccordingtotheUPnPAVdevicemodel[reftodevmodel]willhave1instanceoftheConnectionManagerservice.Thisserviceprovidesamechanismforcontrolpointsto:1.Performcapabilitymatchingbetweensource/serverdevicesandsink/rendererdevices,2.Findinformationaboutcurrentlyongoingtransfersinthenetwork,3.Setupandteardownconnectionsbetweendevices(whenrequiredbythestreamingprotocol).TheConnectionManagerserviceisgenericenoughtoproperlyabstractdifferentkindsofstreamingmechanisms,suchasHTTP-basedstreaming,RTSP/RTP-basedand1394-basedstreaming.TheConnectionManagerenablescontrolpointstoabstractfromphysicalmediainterconnecttechnologywhenmakingconnections.Theterm‘stream’usedinthisservicetemplatereferstobothanaloganddigitaldatatransfer.
